Etna Class - Lend a Hand and Lift a Heart.
Hello Year 3,
Hasn't it been a super hot week and stormy weekend?
I spent time with friends having a picnic lunch on a hill close to where I live. It has a wonderful view of London and I realised that, apart from a number of famous landmarks, I could see the huge recycling centre that is just behind school on Trundleys Road! I hope that you've had an enjoyable weekend too.
I think you and your families have been amazing during this difficult time. It can be hard when everyone is at home together ALL the time. For this reason I thought we could think about Lend a Hand and Lift a Heart . This simply means keep being helpful at home and try to help adults with chores at home or just spend some time chatting and making them smile. If you can send me some photographs of activities and I will share them with your friends.
Those that can keep sending me work at firstname.lastname@example.org . Let's have another productive week Etna Class.
Best wishes Mrs Holdcroft.
Here are some examples of the work that is being shared.
Spelling Focus - words that you should be able to spell by the end of Year 3/4. This week please write a sentence for each word.
Learn these words using look, say, cover, write, check and test yourself (or get a family member to test you) at the end of the week.
We revised all the times tables now, this week click on the link below to test yourself.https://phet.colorado.edu/sims/html/arithmetic/latest/arithmetic_en.html
Send me some photos of your activities and I will post them on our website for everyone to see! email@example.com
