Miss Cohen, Miss Holdaway and Emma
In Science we have been looking after the bulbs we planted. We also planted some carrots and potatoes. We have been observing their growth weekly.
In Geography, we learned how bread is made. We followed it's journey all the way from the farm to our plate. At the end of the week, we made our own soda bread rolls to take home.
In English we are reading 'Last Stop on Market Street' by Matt De La Pena.
For our experience lesson we pretended to line up and catch a bus. We even had our own oyster cards! The children were able to share what they could hear, see and feel on the bus ride. This will help us with our writing.
